Families with Children & Teens
Raising kids in a digital world can feel overwhelming. My family programs are designed to help parents and children build healthier screen-time routines, strengthen communication, and stay safe online — with support that meets your family where you’re at.
'Parenting Strategies for Online Safety'
Group Presentations to Educate Schools and Communities
These 90-minute workshops for parents and caregivers of children ages 5–15 can be hosted by parent or community groups.
These engaging, dare I say entertaining presentations explore today’s online landscape, outline the risks kids face, and share effective strategies for teaching digital literacy.
You'll learn practical ways to set boundaries around screen time and online behaviour — and take home tools you can use right away to strengthen safe, balanced practices at home.
Family Coaching
Personalized support to help families build safe digital routines together.
When every family member has a device, it can be hard to stay connected. My Family Coaching is a simple, supportive way to help kids, parents, and even grandparents build safer online habits together.
Everyone can learn how to reduce conflict, create healthier screen-time boundaries, and build safer online habits together. Together we’ll work through the challenges your household is facing — from digital stress to tricky conversations — and create strategies that work for your family’s unique needs. Coaching includes practical tools like tip sheets, activities, and a family workbook, so everyone leaves with skills they can use right away.
What We'll Do:
With Kids & Teens – We’ll use role-plays, real-life scenarios, and straight-talk conversations to help them spot risks and know what to do. They’ll also have access to an online course with short videos, resource links, and tip sheets.
With Parents & Caregivers – We’ll meet in a group session to look at the big issues, and follow up with a talking circle so you can share challenges and ideas. You’ll also get a course and workbook with step-by-step strategies you can use at home.
With Elders – I offer small-group or one-on-one coaching at a gentle pace, with large-print tip sheets and a family workbook so they feel supported, too.
For the Whole Family – Everyone gets a practical workbook with tools like a password organizer, reporting guides, conversation prompts, and even a fun “Keys & Houses” Bingo card activity.
And One More Thing – Each family gets a fridge magnet with three QR codes, making it easy to grab tip sheets and resources for kids, parents, and elders whenever you need them.
