Family Services

Services for Families, Professionals, and Senior Care Allies

Raising kids in a digital world can feel overwhelming. My family programs are designed to help parents and children build healthier screen-time routines, strengthen communication, and stay safe online — with support that meets your family where you’re at.

Parent Workshop

Parenting Strategies for Online Safety

Community groups, schools, or agencies can host this 90-minute workshop (also available as a webinar) for parents and caregivers of children ages 5–15. The session explores today’s online landscape, outlines the risks kids may face, and shares effective strategies for teaching digital literacy. Parents learn practical ways to set boundaries around screen time and online behavior — leaving with tools they can use right away to strengthen safe, balanced practices at home.

What’s Covered:

The current digital landscape — how kids use apps, games, and platforms, and what parents need to know.

Common online risks — including screen time, inappropriate content, and peer pressure.

Digital literacy skills — strategies for teaching kids to think critically about what they see and share.

Setting boundaries that stick — practical ways to guide behavior and reinforce safe practices at home.

Practical skills and handouts — clear strategies, techniques, and take-home resources parents can use right away.

Confidence for caregivers — parents leave with clear steps they can use immediately.

Family Coaching

Personalized support to help families set boundaries, reduce conflict, and build safe digital routines together.

When every family member has a device, it can be hard to stay connected. My Family Coaching service provides tailored support for parents, children, and teens to reduce conflict, create healthier screen-time boundaries, and build safer online habits. Together we’ll work through the challenges your household is facing — from digital stress to tricky conversations — and create strategies that work for your family’s unique needs. Coaching includes practical tools like tip sheets, activities, and a family workbook, so everyone leaves with skills they can use right away.

What’s Included:

Practical Strategies — Guidance for parents on setting boundaries with devices, social media, and screen time.

Family Workbook — A printed or PDF resource with organizers, reporting guides, safety tips, and conversation prompts.

Tip Sheets — One-pagers tailored for kids, parents, and elders, with easy reminders that reinforce coaching sessions
