Sorrento and the Training for Community Experts (CET)

Dolpin and I set out on our Sorrento adventure.

This weekend, well Friday and Saturday, we hosted the second of our three part pilot for CET.The Sorrento Conference Centre was snowy and cozy and the food magnificent. The pilot for CET has been going great. Two days of intensive focus on the topic of online youth culture, risks online and examing the implications of emerging online culture for youth work, really give a small group a chance to understand the content on a deep level. welcome-sign1Lorinda, Dolphin and I had an excellent time, although I have to say that the five inches of snow on the morning we left for home was a bit challenging. Luckily the roads cleared by the time we got to Kamloops and the rest of the drive went smoothly.

The Sorrento Conference Centre and staff were great to us and we’d be happy to go back anytime.
