Mt. View in Revelstoke

What an amazing few days. A stunning stone staircase led me into Moutain View Elementary. I started today with an early presentation. The ScreenSmart Program arranged for all the four local schools to bus in the grades five through seven.  Parents and invited guests joined us for a great presentation. I’m glad everyone enjoyed the ‘Free Hugs’ video. I couldn’t have felt more welcome.

Just a few words about ScreenSmart while I’m here.  ‘Screen Smart’ is a broad based community education initiative designed to help families better understand how screen Spring, it seemed, came to Revelstoke the day after I got there. It's always good to see crocus!media – TV, computers and the internet, – may influence their lives, and suggest ways that parents and children can best manage media at home and at school.
